I prefer to think of it as Friday Eve.

It’s about to get CRAZY up in Whole Foods!

From the Whole Foods Market, Columbia Facebook page:

“Is everybody ready?! We are having customer appreciation day on Saturday starting at 8am. We will have selected 365 products through out the store with “its on me” stickers. That means that item is free!!!!!! Thank you for being a part of our new family and providing a warm welcome to Columbia! Rules listed below!

1. Limit of 10 free items per person
2. Customers must pay any tax due on the item(s)
3. Quantities are limited, no rainchecks, while supplies last”

So if you are a brave soul and love a great deal (it doesn’t get much better than free!) then head on over to Whole Foods and start searching for stickers!   I’d advise getting there early and maybe wearing some elbow pads?

TED is my 2nd boyfriend.

TEDxColumbiaSC is pretty awesome.  I attended the event in 2012, and it was so awesome that I joined the planning team for 2013.  Being on the planning team was so awesome that I’m doing it again.  In short, TEDxColumbiaSC is full of awesome and surrounded by awesome.  It’s like swimming in a pool of awesome sauce.  (“Awesome” count = 6)

Right now, we are searching for speakers for the 2014 event.  This is where you all come in… who do you want to see on this stage?

We need you guys to nominate awesome people doing awesome things in Columbia. You are obviously awesome so maybe you want to come and chat with us and 400 of our closest friends?  Nominate yourself.  Is your neighbor working on some amazing bee farming project that might just change the world?  Nominate them.  (Hopefully, for your sake, that project is not happening at their house.)  Did your coworker start up a fundraising campaign for the coolest thing you’ve ever heard of?  Nominate them!  You and people you know have amazing stories and we want to hear them.

Check out the TEDxColumbiaSC website to learn more or if you are so excited to nominate your awesome self/neighbor/coworker then you can go directly to the nomination form and tell us all about them!

Final “awesome” count = 10
